This shrub has become a staple in many landscaping designs. It is a large, rounded shrub suitable for planting down to Zone 2b. It is one of the first shrubs to leaf out early in spring and suffers little to no die-back. Mockorange produces an abundance of stunning, fragrant white flowers with yellow eyes in late June to early July.

In our Feb 17' blog post we discussed the importance of remembering plant maturity when planning. This shrub will grow to approximately 6 feet wide and 7 feet tall under ideal conditions, with a ground clearance of around 2 feet. Therefore it is an ideal shrub to fill a large void with green foliage, while simultaneously providing beautiful flowers during the middle months of summer.

It is low maintenance and should only be pruned after the seasons flowering stage has passed.
